At the heart of DivitTrust are two incredible journeys — stories of courage, resilience, and hope that remind us what’s possible when we focus on abilities rather than limitations.
Prakhar — Turning Challenges into Champions
I was born on August 31, 2002. Soon after, doctors diagnosed me with cerebral palsy, causing 70% physical disability and paralysis on the right side of my body. For many, that might have sounded like the end of possibilities — but for me, it became the start of a different kind of story.
Growing up, I was often told what I couldn’t do. Instead of accepting that, my parents and I chose to focus on what I could do. With consistent effort, faith, and discipline, I transformed challenges into strength.
Today, I’m proud to represent India as an international-level para table tennis player, ranked 5th nationally and 3rd in Karnataka. I’ve also completed my graduation with distinction and played basketball at the zonal level during school.
Beyond sports, I love cycling and swimming, and often participate in marathons to raise awareness for para athletes. My journey has taught me one powerful truth — disability does not define ability. Every step forward has been a victory of spirit over circumstance.
Divyam — Finding My Voice
I was born on June 11, 2009, and for the first few years of my life, I couldn’t speak. The doctors said I might never be able to talk — but my parents believed otherwise. They worked with me every single day, through therapies, patience, and encouragement, never losing hope.
After years of steady effort, I began to speak — first a few words, then full sentences, and eventually fluently in both Hindi and English. Today, I’m an independent teenager who loves learning and exploring the world around me.
My journey from being non-verbal to finding my voice wasn’t easy, but it showed me — and my family — the power of persistence, faith, and love. Every word I speak now is a reminder that progress is always possible, no matter where you start.
The Vision Behind DivitTrust
These two journeys — Prakhar’s and Divyam’s — became the foundation of DivitTrust. They inspired a mission rooted in empathy, awareness, and empowerment.
Through our initiatives, we aim to support children with special needs and their families by creating access to early intervention, therapy, education, and holistic care. Our focus is simple yet powerful: help every child realize their potential, and help every parent find strength in their child’s growth.
Together, we are building a future where neurodivergent and differently-abled children are not defined by their challenges — but celebrated for their abilities, achievements, and individuality.
